About PAWS

The Teasley Tiger PAWS Foundation is a charitable non-profit volunteer organization established in 2006 to work hand in hand with the PTA to enhance educational opportunities for all students of Teasley Elementary School. The Foundation is a means by which Teasley families, corporations, and local clubs and businesses can support our school by donating dollars directly for students’ benefit. As a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization, we are able to receive employee matching funds as well as apply for grants. The goal of the Foundation is to provide all students with programs and capital improvements to maintain excellence in the classroom and beyond.

Since its inception in 2006, PAWS has funded numerous initiatives that enhance Teasley students’ education as well as their learning environment.

Thank you for your support of the Teasley PAWS Foundation. This foundation was established in 2006 with the purpose to support every student in our school to enhance their educational experience and this has been achieved consistently over the years. Through generous donor contributions over the years, Teasley students have received additional technology, upgrades to our outdoor recreational spaces, funding for field trips, and even additional instruction with a Science specialist. The Teasley staff has received technology enhancements, professional development to support their instructional strategies, and curriculum resources that enhance their instruction. Without your generous donations to the PAWS Foundation, these advancements and opportunities would simply not be possible.

We continue to be proud that Teasley is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program school. We are seeking to provide each student with a rich educational experience where they are learning through inquiry and developing a deep understanding of concepts as well as a global perspective. The support of our parents and community is more crucial than ever before. Teaching through the IB framework requires additional curriculum resources, professional development for our staff, and experiences for our students that help them to develop an understanding of the world around them. Together, we will provide the rich learning experiences that all children deserve, so that they may reach their full potential and ultimately contribute to making the world around them a better place.
